David typically woke up earlier than me, so he had some time to take pictures of us pulling into port.

It was a beautiful morning in St. Maarten.

This is another picture of the port

Here is a picture of the bow of the ship.  As a side note, we met the two people in the foreground and their daughter in the airport and traveled to the ship in the same bus.  We saw them several times during the week.

We took a shore excursion that included an island tour, a stop in a busy shopping area on the French side, and ride on a semi-submarine that took us out the the big rock you see in the middle of the picture.

Here is me waiting for the boat to pick us up.

The semi-submarine had a downstairs that had windows on either side.  Here a diver is attracting the fish to the ship

And there he goes.

More fish

And still more fish.

This is a landmark that is the divider between the French and Dutch side of the island.

Goats in someone's yard.

We stopped at a lookout point and were able to take some pictures

Another beautiful picture from the lookout

David and I at the lookout.

This is a picture of our ship from a distance.

David and I spent the rest of the day in the Philipsburg, where we lost money at blackjack, did a rum tasting, and had lunch on the beach.  We ended the day by swimming in the bay near our ship.
